Bobcat Hockey, along with head coach Byron Pool and assistant coach Layne Sedevie are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 7th Annual Bobcat Hockey Youth Camp June 21-25 and June 28-July 2 at the VFW Sports Center!

Because Bobcat Hockey's mission is to be mentors for hockey players in North Dakota, the camp will continue to be the best value in the country as it is intentionally very affordable. Past participants and parents tell us it was one of the best run, most interactive and most fun camps the kids had experienced.

The camp format will be similar to last year's. It will be both intense and fun. Bobcat coaches Pool and Sedevie, along with several Bobcat players, will give the kids a positive learning experience as well as a greater appreciation for the game of hockey while having some FUN!

For our peewee, bantam and high school camps, we will be incorporating specialized hockey-oriented workouts at Healthways on Lovett Ave., led by Bobcats Strength and Conditioning Coach Mike Salwei. These workouts will help the older players get a good off-ice training base necessary for higher levels of hockey.

Because of the low cost and reputation of the camp, we are expecting it to fill up rapidly again this year. Spots will be limited so that we can give each player as much attention as possible and give them the most useful feedback.

The Bobcat Hockey Youth Camp is held at the VFW Sports Center at 1200 N. Washington St., Bismarck, ND  58501. Each camp participant is required to provide their own sticks, skates, helmets (with facemask), shin and elbow pads, athletic supporter and mouth guard. Goaltenders are responsible for wearing complete equipment. We will provide a camp jersey. Each player is also required to be covered by proper medical and accident insurance and the proper information needs to be provided on the application.

FULL CAMPS - Please note that our White Mite, Squirt Group I and Peewee camps have all reached their registration limit and we cannot accept any more applications for these levels. However, we do encourage you to sign up for our waiting list for these levels; if there is a cancellation due to injury or illness you will be contacted with the camp's availability.

There is limited space remaining for the other four camps, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to insure that your spot is reserved.
