NAHL Bismarck Bobcats

Front Office

Thom Brigl - Owner/CEO

Thom Brigl, CEO and Team Owner has owned the Bobcats since the 2001 Season. Thom is a Mandan native and graduated from MHS in 1978. He became involved with the Bobcats for three reasons; a passion for Western North Dakota, a passion for youth and a passion for the game of hockey which he acquired as a Fighting Sioux fan while attending UND. He has three children, Justin 30, who played four years at St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minn., Tyler, a former Bobcat and graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and Meaghan, who recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Thom and his wife Brenda (Schulte) also a MHS ’78 graduate live in Eagan, Minn., and are proud to present the Bismarck Bobcats and all that they stand for in the community and to the development of young men and North Dakota youth.

Paul Teeple - Director of Broadcasting & Media

Paul rejoins the Bobcats for the 2014-15 season. He had previously served in the same capacity between 2009 and 2013. Over the course of a 14-year broadcasting career, Paul has called games at the high school, midget major, junior, collegiate and professional levels. In 2011 his broadcast with the Cats was the most-clicked of any team in the NAHL; in 2012 he was named lead broadcaster for the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Paul is a 2005 graduate of Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where he majored in Broadcast News, with specializations in Sports Industry and History. Once upon a time, he also played a mean game of lacrosse: being named third-team all-state in Ohio in 2000. Paul, his wife Kayla and daughter Christine--whose favorite all-time Bobcat is Patrick Moore--live in Bismarck/Mandan.

Bunny Greig - Housing & Retail Services Director

Bunny Greig is back once again Housing Director for the Bobcats for the 2013-14 season after returning to the post for 2009-10. This is her fifteenth season overall as Housing Director with the Bobcats, and she and her husband Gary have been housing junior players in Bismarck since 1992. The Greigs have housed over 50 players and still keep in touch with nearly all of them. Bunny recently retired as an employee of the State of North Dakota after 45 years. She and Gary have one daughter, Dawn, and three dogs, Mickey, Minnie and Louie. Starting with the 2011-12 season, Bunny also took on the duty of running the Bobcats' food and retail services.

Samantha Ziegler - Athletic Trainer

The Bobcats' Certified Athletic Trainer is a 2012 graduate of the University of Mary.  Sam is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at U of Mary.  She provides sports medicine coverage at a variety of area sporting events.  When not working or studying Sam enjoys the outdoors and hanging out with family and friends.
